Bring Helping Paws to your School! Experience Character Tales with the main characters, Larry and Daryl! Part black lab and part really sweet dog, your students will fall in love from the minute they meet these four legged friends. Never meeting a stranger, Daryl and Larry have many stories to share. They will melt the children's heart while teaching great lessons on character.
What is Helping Paws? Daryl and Larry are rescued dogs who love traveling to schools and "teaching" character stories. The dogs are five years old and have been "working" in elementary schools, churches, after school programs and juvenile detention centers for the past three years. They are happiest while in the middle of a group of children. Their co-worker, Amy Hicks, a 13 year public school educator, travels with them. Her background in counseling and education provides a solid basis for the program.
Character Tales, Learning to Respect the Rules is the true, fun story of Daryl and Larry. Children will love meeting them and taking an adventure with them when they do not Respect the Rules. Children will learn the importance of why we all have rules in life. The book is also filled with activities, fun and games. The book cost is $15.30. It is full color and 60 plus pages.
