Hi,

My name is Daryl and I am five years old. I am part black lab and part really sweet dog. My parents, Amy & Wes, rescued me when I was about one and a half years old.  We (my brother Larry & I) were very playful puppies growing up and my brother got into trouble.  Our parents at that time decided they could not handle us so they put us up for adoption.  We bounced around from house to house until finally one day Amy & Wes Hicks along with Sally, came to visit.  The next day Sally & Wes came back to take us somewhere.  That somewhere turned out to be our new home.  YEA, all at once we got a new house, sister, mom & dad.   It has been a whirl-wind since then. We got to go to school, learn nice manners and now we get to spend many days a week visiting with kids.  They say we are therapy dogs but we really do not know what that means.  All we know is that we love to meet new friends. Sometimes the kids seem sad but after my brother and I love on them they usually find a smile.

My brother and I also love to visit with our friends at an Alzheimer`s home. These are our very special friends and we love seeing them each week.

In our free time, we love to run, play, dig and chase squirrels.
