Larry is turning gray with each passing day.

Larry is big and sweet.

He is Respectful and does not lick your feet.

He likes to play with a ball,

He is happy and funny and wags his tail,

And boy does he wear bandanas well.

Larry

Larry is loveable.

Larry is very gentle and black.

Larry is very kind to kids.

He likes to eat apples.

When he comes to school,

he makes us laugh and giggle.

My name is Larry and I am five years old. I am part black lab and part really sweet dog.  I will not go into our background, see Daryl`s page for the details. If you have already read Daryl`s page and you are wondering what type of trouble I got into well here`s the 411; When I was young I liked to chase big metal objects and one day I caught one.  Yes, you guessed it.  I was chasing cars and finally one hit me.  I got rushed to the doctor and they did all kinds of stuff to me.  I still have the scar to prove it.  My leg still hurts a little but I am just happy to be alive.  Moral of the story is, do not chase things unless you are absolutely sure you want to catch them.  What you are chasing might turn around and chase you and then what?

I also went to school, learned nice manners, and then became a therapy dog.  I love to visit many places and meet new friends.  I love to see them smile when I do something funny.

I also enjoy visiting my special friends at a local alzheimer`s home.

In my free time, I love to chew and dig. I have to admit, sometimes, I get in lots of trouble for digging.

Dear Larry,

I will miss you. You are my best friend. I’ll see you again at the high school. I give you a nickname, “Blackey”.  I hope you have an awesome day!

Your Friend

On May 17, 2008, Larry attended Pet a Poolooza in Suwanee, Georgia. This was a wonderful event with numerous pet vendors promoting and selling their product. Larry enjoyed meeting many new dog friends as well as promoting his book, Character Tales!
